Yep. It just ruins the game. He's out for 3 weeks, I wonder how the Spurs can hold up without him and Parker.
They host Dallas after Thursday's game against the Lakers. |

If Duncan spends too much time on the IL, they might end up lower in the rankings. And if they don't get homecourt advantage, they lose an important edge against the opposition in the playoffs.

Edge? What edge? Spurs have always been a solid road team as evidence last year when LA got destroyed in LA by the Spurs.

The only edge they got is when 2 of our key players went down. Other then that they are soft as butter, and won't matter where we win. They can't beat us at home let alone at Staples Center. blubster |

Stop being a moron and putting words in my mouth. Thats not what I said....but Duncan is better than Shaq and Kobe...he proved that last year and he is the best player in the league right now. Shaq and Kobe are right behind him...

The spurs lost to the mavs...it didnt go to double OT so are u sayin the mavs are better than the lakers? and duncan is not BETTER than kobe AND shaq, he got mvp last year cuz he helped his team more...shaq was out cuz of injuries...

Duncan is better than Shaq and Kobe....he is the two time MVP....you dont just win the MVP by the importance of you to your team...you win it by stats as well....

I agree with the Lakers there though. regular season means nothing. The only thing that matters is walking away at the end of the season with a ring. The Spurs did it last year, I'll give you that. You stated however, that losing games at the beginning of the regular season means nothing. That is what I was refering to as a stupid statement. Hell, look at the Lakers last year. They came out at the beginning without Shaq and lost a few games. It really hurt them down the road and in the playoffs.
